My favorites tends to end up a mile long over time and although I do use folders it gets cluttered. I was reading a blog post the other day that said something about being able to set profiles in Flock and Firefox. Now I can set profiles for business, family, social browsing, etc.
The great thing about this is Each profile has its own favorites, plug-ins and history. So when I am working on my business only my business favorites are there. I can install the plug-ins that I use for my business etc. So each profile will be less cluttered than just one catch all default profile. Now If I can learn to focus on one thing at a time it may work..
Here is a video showing how to set up the profiles.
With Firefox you can have multiple profiles each with its own bookmarks, plug-ins etc. So you could have a profile for business, one for family, and one for friends each with its own bookmarks and plug-ins. This video will show you how to add profiles to Firefox.

One drawback is that they are on day 3, so you will have some catching up to do. Don’t let that hold you back. With what is left of this weekend and next weekend you can easily get caught up. I guess you need the link, its www.30daychallenge.com

Software is one of the most expensive aspects of internet marketing, especially when you are starting out and having to design your own web sites, graphics, etc. Most free-ware just doesn’t compare to the expensive software, and if it does happen to be half as good it is a trial version that is going to cost something. Every dollar counts when you are getting started online. When you figure that you are going to need a good word processor, graphics program, Html editor, ftp program and whatever else I’m missing it all adds up to a chunk of change. Read more…
You’ve done your research and found that great domain name for your site, now what? It’s time to find a registrar for it. What should you consider when looking for a registrar?
1. Are there any transfer limitations
2. Is the Domain name registered in your name
3. What is the cost.
4. What type of control do you have over the Domain name
I just found a neat site for brainstorming a domain name. It lets you pick two words and then comes up with a list of possible domain names. There are some sites that let you pick three words and then tries to find domain names from them, remember the shorter the name the easier it is to remember. The list shows what is available by extension, .com, .net, .biz etc. I saw some pretty good domain names available off the one combination that I tried. Make sure you check the box Allow hyphens. If you just have to have more than two words in your domain name just combine two in one box, and put one in the other. I tried it and it works just try different combinations of it. Oh yeah the site is nameboy.com. Read more…
